The South Metro Dragons would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.

I know that quite a few of you out there will be traveling during the holidays, so please be safe and keep an eye out for others as you travel.

I'd also like to bring up a few other thoughts for you and yours this Christmas.

A lot of us get caught up in the commercial aspect of Christmas; Buying gifts for friends and family, Co-workers and neighbors. While I know that that is an important part of the season there are so many people who are unable to even buy gifts for their children... or even put a proper Christmas meal on the table for their families. Frankly my family and I have been one of those families and without the love and kindness and sacrifice of people I knew and many I didn't know, Christmas wouldn't have been the Joy it aught to be. So please, if you are able to, find a way to reach out this season and make a families Christmas a little brighter. 

There are so many ways you can help and it doesn't take much. It just Takes a few moments to bring something to the Local Food Shelf. You can Check with the nearest Homeless Shelter/Womens Shelter to see what they need most. Toys for Tots still needs toys. These are just a few of the many places that need our help....
